THE GLASS SNAIL

The Glass Snail was founded in 2022 by self-taught primary artist Nikki van Oirschot who has been creating stained glass art since 2021. The Glass Snail has creative stock designs for sale and accepts bulk orders. Custom designs may be available on request. We are located west of London, Ontario.

The Glass Snail is a unique name that was inspired by a tiny snail named Buster (featured in the logo). The snail is associated with wisdom, persistence, patience, peace, self-love, self-care, and harmony.

Nikki is an Anishinaabe/Dutch artist called Mashkawizii Nendamowin Kwe ("Carries Strong Mind") from Muskowagoking (Caldwell First Nation) and Miikinaak ndodem ("Turtle Clan"). She uses a variety of mediums in her work and enjoys creating designs that embody nature.
